Vellum Flowers

I saw vellum flowers on a blog and just had to try them.  This blog is just fantastic for all sorts of cards and ideas so check it out:.  Here is the link to the flower I tried because that's the punch I had  http://selmasstampingcorner.blogspot.com/2010/04/tutorial-on-making-punched-flowers.html   Mine didn't turn out nearly as well as hers but were passable for a first attempt.  The centers were liquid pearls and this was only my second time to try those.  I know those will get better with time, too.  I didn't have the border punch she used but used the Martha Stewart Elegant Cakes cartridge in my cricut and cut a similar border.  I really like these flowers and will be trying more.
